Pest Control Technician
About The Position
Pro Active Pest Control is currently hiring full-time Pest Control Technicians to join our team! Whether you are already licensed or looking to start a new career, we are seeking motivated individuals ready to provide real-time solutions and deliver 5-star service to our customers. No experience is required—we provide paid training and state licensing for the right candidate. Pro Active Pest Control is a family-owned and locally operated company serving California and Arizona. Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Valid driver’s license with a good DMV record
- Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment, climb ladders, and work at heights
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Must have or be willing to obtain an Applicator or Branch II Field Representative license through the CA State Pest Control Board
- Ability to pass a live scan, state exam, and obtain licensing within 90 days if not currently licensed
- Must be willing and able to complete a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review, and meet eligibility requirements to be insured under the company’s auto insurance policy, in accordance with applicable laws.
Responsibilities
- Manage an established service route and new customers
- Perform inspections and treatments for residential and commercial properties
- Troubleshoot pest issues and provide effective solutions
- Educate customers on services and prevention methods
- Maintain strong time management and daily scheduling
- Help meet company service and sales goals
- Continuously build skills and product knowledge
- Train alongside a licensed technician if not yet licensed
