Pest Control Technician (Temple, Tx)

The Bug Master is a rapidly growing pest control company headquartered in Austin, TX, with additional locations in Temple, Houston, and San Marcos. As a pest control technician, you will work largely independently, traveling in a company-provided vehicle to client locations to provide pest control services and resolve pest issues for residential, commercial, and apartment clients. You will take your company vehicle home and start and end your day from home.
Requirements
- Travel throughout the community (BugMaster service area) 67 – 100 % of the time to service customers.
- Constant utilization of the telephone including the Company issued cell phone.
- Constant sitting for long periods of time (when driving).
- Constant mental alertness.
- Frequent walking (34 – 66 %)
- Frequent standing, bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Frequent ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb heights using ladders.
- Ability to work on roofs.
- Ability to endure high levels of noise.
- Corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
- Ability to operate a vehicle and other mechanical equipment.
- Work performed using many variations of chemicals including but not limited to: Liquids, Baits, Aerosols, Dusts, Traps, and industry equipment.
- Possess the ability to communicate clearly and learn technical, industry related data pertaining to pest control and safety standards.
- Display a positive demeanor and ability to interact with others in a pleasing, professional way.
- Have a clean-cut image, sense of pride, integrity, attention to detail, and organizational ability.
Responsibilities
- Provide pest control services to clients.
