Pest Control Technician
About The Position
We're looking for a motivated Residential Pest Control Technician with experience in sales and home inspections. This role focuses on conducting detailed inspections, identifying pest issues, and closing sales while delivering excellent customer service. In this position, you will have a daily route where you will treat customers' homes with various pest control treatments, techniques, and inspections. You will strive to solve customers' pest concerns while exemplifying excellent customer service, maintaining customer relationships, and providing strategic recommendations.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months sales experience.
- Minimum 6 months of home inspection experience.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Customer-focused and self-motivated.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be 18 or over.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be clean-shaven for safety purposes (may occasionally wear a respirator).
- Must be comfortable going into crawl spaces and attics.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in pest control.
- Previous experience in HVAC.
- Previous experience in solar.
- Previous experience in internet/cable installation.
- Previous experience running an independent route.
- Other types of in-home technician experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections of residential properties to identify pest infestations and points of entry for insects and rodents.
- Apply various pest control treatments, techniques, and inspections to customers' homes.
- Solve customers' pest concerns while exemplifying excellent customer service.
- Maintain customer relationships and provide strategic recommendations.
- Communicate clearly with customers about findings, treatment plans, and preventative measures.
- Occasionally travel to the warehouse in Kansas City, MO for meetings, training, and restocking.
