Pest Control Technician (Sign-On Bonus)
About The Position
Pointe Pest is seeking a Pest Control Service Technician responsible for providing pest remediation and prevention solutions to commercial or residential structures. This full-time position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with Saturdays available. The role involves investigating pest issues, inspecting and setting traps, potentially performing minor construction tasks like building access doors and vents, and recommending services to customers. Technicians are expected to complete appointments on time, act as subject matter experts for customers, use safety equipment, maintain professional appearance and equipment, and dedicate full attention to duties. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong Communication skills effectively through verbal, written and in person.
- Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs and be able to kneel and bend as necessary for a job.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
- Self-motivated and results driven.
- Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Some knowledge of construction or experience.
- Use of power tools & cutting tools.
- Pest Control experience or Pest Control License
Responsibilities
- Investigating pest issues and inspecting structures.
- Crawling crawlspaces and setting traps.
- Building crawlspace access doors and crawlspace vents.
- Recommending and providing estimates for pest control services.
- Completing scheduled customer appointments on time.
- Serving as the subject matter expert for customers on pest solutions.
- Using all safety equipment as instructed.
- Maintaining professional appearance and equipment in working order, including vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature.
- Devoting full attention and time to duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisor and Company.
