About The Position

Arrow Exterminators is hiring a full-time Pest Control Technician specializing in termite treatment. The role provides residential and commercial customers with service using an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach. This is an hourly position, and the company provides a vehicle. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. Technicians follow inspection graphs and specification sheets to determine prescribed treatments, prepare treatment areas, and apply wood-destroying-organism treatments to buildings and structures. They also collect customer payments, answer questions, build customer relationships, and maintain their equipment and vehicle in proper operating condition.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to pass and maintain state regulatory agency-required licensing or certification exams.
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Determine prescribed treatment according to inspection graphs and specification sheets.
Prepare treatment areas by removing and hauling away debris as prescribed.
Install termite bait stations, including Sentricon systems, using augers and digging tools.
Trench and apply liquid treatment around exterior or crawl-space perimeters of structures.
Drill and apply liquid treatment to void spaces or blocks in crawl spaces and structures.
Spray products on affected areas.
Collect service payments from customers.
Answer customer questions and describe personalized treatment solutions.
Maintain equipment and the company vehicle in proper operating condition.
