About The Position

Central Arkansas Pest Services is hiring multiple full-time Pest Control Technicians who enjoy solving unique problems, working independently, and making a real difference for customers. Whether you're an industry expert or an ambitious entry-level candidate, this role has something to offer you. In this role, you'll meet with clients to learn about their structural pest issues and clearly express how we can serve their needs. Through our comprehensive training program, you'll learn about the different types and behaviors of common pests and learn how to apply IPM (integrated pest management) techniques to remove them from the property. You'll investigate for signs of activity and take the appropriate actions based on the type of pest. Professionalism, thoroughness, and time management will be crucial.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a state certification exam after your training period
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to wear a respirator
• Pass a medical fitness exam
• Working knowledge of the Central Arkansas region
• Coachable mindset and a motivation to keep learning
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to pass a driving history check
• Ability to pass a drug test (including medical marijuana)

Nice To Haves

• Industry expert experience is preferred but not required for this entry-level role
