About The Position

Pest Control Technicians use their expertise to play a role in protecting customers properties from wood destroying organisms. As a Pest Control Technician you are the first line of defense in preserving and safeguarding customers' properties. The inspections, prevention, and treatment services that you provide will create peace of mind and comfort for our customers. This company is a Drug Free workplace. Requirements

• Clean shaven face- for safety reasons (rebreathers have to be able to seal your face)
• High school diploma or GED
• Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence
• At least 1 years of customer service, experience in pest control is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Be flexible with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
• Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• You’ll need to be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels.

Nice To Haves

• General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is plus

Responsibilities

• Identify customer’s pest problems and have knowledge of pest behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps
• Perform pest treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices
• Applying anti-pest treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions.
• Communicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to pest activity
• Discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to treatment process
• Verifying that job specifications are appropriate for each work order
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment
• Completing production forms documenting services provided
• Interacting with customers and explaining services provided
