Pest Control Technician
About The Position
EnviroGuard, a family-owned and operated Pest Control company established in 2015, is seeking individuals who are eager for personal and professional growth to join their expanding team. The company aims to provide an excellent customer experience by keeping homes pest-free. As EnviroGuard grows, there are ample opportunities for team members to expand their roles and advance within the company. No prior pest control experience is necessary, as EnviroGuard will provide comprehensive training and assist with state licensing if needed. A key aspect of the role involves significant customer interaction, making enthusiasm and strong interpersonal skills essential. Service professionals will treat residential homes, both interior and exterior, requiring direct engagement with customers.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record
- High school or equivalent
- 21 years of age or older (for insurance purposes)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Willingness to work hard and learn
- Enthusiastic, likable, and able to hold a conversation
Nice To Haves
- Existing pest control knowledge or state licensing (though not required)
- Willingness to add a personal touch to the application and contribute to company culture.
Responsibilities
- Treat residential homes with Pest Control products (training provided).
- Interact with customers throughout the day, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Adapt to a changing daily schedule, including cancellations and added appointments, requiring flexibility and quick thinking.
- Drive a company vehicle to customer locations.
