About The Position

Western Pest Services is hiring a Pest Control Technician based out of its NYC branch. The role serves residential and/or commercial customers by addressing pest control issues and inspecting homes and businesses. The company provides two months of paid training and pays for the required state pesticide license, which must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment. The position offers compensation of $23.00–$30.00 per hour, a company vehicle and gas card, and opportunities for growth and advancement.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or better.
Valid driver’s license.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment; the company pays for it.
Meet physical job requirements and safely perform the listed duties, with or without accommodations.
Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops.
Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
Positive attitude and ability to work independently, build relationships, and treat customers with dignity and respect.
Ability to explain information clearly and put the customer first.
