About The Position

Arrow Exterminators is seeking a full-time Commercial Pest Control Technician to deliver exceptional service to commercial clients using an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach. Established in 1964, Arrow Exterminators is a family-owned and operated business that has expanded to service 12 states, maintaining a personalized approach through numerous local offices. The role involves protecting commercial facilities, such as offices, hotels, restaurants, manufacturing plants, and mixed-use properties, from pest infestations. Responsibilities include conducting thorough inspections to identify pests, harborage areas, and conducive conditions, applying expert solutions for treatment and prevention, and meticulously maintaining pest control equipment like bait boxes, traps, and monitor boards. Technicians are expected to provide professional and reassuring customer service, developing and explaining personalized pest control solutions, and ensuring their equipment and company vehicle are well-maintained.

Requirements

  • Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency required licensing/certification exams
  • Able to pass internal technical exams
  • Possess current Driver's License
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Present a professional appearance including wearing an approved Arrow uniform
  • Able to work a 40-hour (minimum) work week
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule depending on customer's service requirement

Responsibilities

  • Provide uncompromised service to commercial pest control customers utilizing an Integrated Pest Management approach (IPM)
  • Conduct thorough inspections of properties to assess any problems and properly identify insects, rodents, pest harborage areas, and conducive conditions
  • Apply expertise and problem solving to treat for and prevent pests
  • Meticulously inspect and maintain bait boxes, traps, and monitor boards
  • Demonstrate professional commitment to creating an awesome experience for customers
  • Devise and describe a personalized solution to customers
  • Keep equipment and vehicle in proper operating condition
