About The Position

This role is responsible for pest control within the maintenance department. The specialist will implement policies and procedures related to pest management, utilizing knowledge of effective methods, materials, and Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) regulations. The position requires the ability to operate pesticide application equipment and communicate effectively.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Valid Noncommercial Certified Applicator license granted by the Texas Department of Agriculture
• One year pest control applicator experience
• Knowledge of methods and materials for pest control and TDA regulations
• Ability to implement policy and procedures
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to operate pesticide application equipment
• Heavy lifting up to 45+lbs
• Frequent standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
• Ability to work in tiring and uncomfortable positions
• Ability to maintain emotional control under stress

Responsibilities

• Perform pest control duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director.
• Implement pest control methods and materials according to TDA regulations.
• Operate pesticide application equipment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures related to pest control.
