About The Position

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Personnel Specialist to support emergency response operations at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This position will provide personnel and operational support for emergency response duty officer activities and will play an important role in supporting CDC’s ability to coordinate and respond effectively during public health emergencies and other critical events. This is a 100% in-person position and requires on-site support at CDC facilities.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s or equivalent.
• A minimum of 4 years experience is an acceptable substitute for degree.
• Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook Mail).
• Ability to effectively communicate needs at all briefings to assist with operational strategy.
• Ability to identify gaps in existing resources.
• Ability to multitask in emergency situations.
• Ability to be flexible with a strong sense of urgency.
• Interpersonal communication: telephone, email, and business etiquette.
• Strong proofreading skill and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Emergency management staffing and deployment experience preferred.
• Experience working with operational data, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel to organize, filter, analyze, and manipulate datasets.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, or data visualizations using Microsoft Power BI is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates IMS Staffing actions between the response and CIOs.
• Conducts responder searches and coordinates assignments for assigned task forces.
• Performs response related data and tracking products, as needed.
