About The Position

System High Corporation is seeking an experienced Personnel Security (PERSEC) Specialist to support personnel security requirements within Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs), in accordance with the NISPOM and DoD Manual 5205.07. The role supports the protection of sensitive government technologies and missions. The position is located in Arlington, Virginia, and requires a current Top Secret security clearance.

Requirements

• At least five years of relevant specialized security experience.
• A current Top Secret (TS) security clearance, current within the last five years; this requirement is temporarily waived to six years.
• Thorough knowledge of DoD and service security references, regulations, and instructions related to personnel security, especially the NISPOM and DoD 5205.07.
• Ability to constructively engage in and resolve challenging situations.
• Availability to work before or after typical office hours as work may demand.
• Ability to work independently; self-starter, proactive, and professionally assertive.
• Effective oral and written communication, strong interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Administer and update information in client security databases.
• Track and maintain personnel security information, including clearance status, SAP access, security training records, personnel information files (PIFs), and visit certification (VAR).
• Process incoming Program Access Requests (PARs) and associated documentation through JSFPO processing, following the requirements in the JADE SOP.
• Manage the program quota roster.
• Maintain tracking numbers for monthly reporting by the Program Manager.
• Perform other assigned duties.
