About The Position

The Personnel Scheduler creates and manages schedules for CNAs and Nurses per patient day staffing requirements, allowing Valle Verde to provide the highest levels of care to our residents. Responsibilities include creating and managing the master staffing schedule utilizing UKG Staffing platform. The Personnel Scheduler will respond to schedule changes by ensuring all shifts are covered and any rescheduling has been filled. Will apprise inter-disciplinary team, managers and Care Partners of scheduling changes or conflicts to ensure the smooth operation on all shifts each day. This position also serves a primary role to coordinate information related to medical supplies usage and inventory and distribute supply as needed. As a representative and team member of the company, this position is expected to present oneself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of scheduling experience in health care preferred or related experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • AA degree preferred
  • Knowledge and ability to leverage the UKG Scheduling platform or other scheduling platforms desired
  • Knowledge and application of Wage and Hours laws and practices desired
