About The Position

We are currently looking for Personal Care Assistant/Caregivers looking to fill a case: Morning shift in San Pedro with a female client. This position requires a Spanish speaker and can start as soon as possible. The client requires assistance on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9 AM to 4 PM, and on Tuesdays from 9 AM to 7:30 PM. Candidates can complete their interview online to get hired within 72 hours.

Requirements

Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) - This is a CA State requirement which involves registering as a Personal Attendant and providing Livescan fingerprints for a FBI Background check (Salus can help with this process if not currently certified)
TB Test - Must be within 90 days of start
Must be able to legally work within the USA
Physical capability to perform all job functions
Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if you will be driving with clients
Spanish speaker needed

Responsibilities

Serving as a companion to clients
Arrives to clients home on a timely manner.
Assist clients with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparations and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed
Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.
Turning, repositioning and move patients between beds, wheelchairs and seats
Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of the client
Maintains confidential of all clients information according to HIPPA standards
Notifies the office of any abnormal findings or conditions
Represents the company with a positive image at all times
