Join Associated Bank as a Personal Trust Associate, where you'll support Relationship Managers and help deliver exceptional service to Personal Trust and agency clients. In this role, you will coordinate daily trust account administration, solve complex client issues, and ensure accounts are managed accurately and compliantly. This position offers opportunities to expand your trust and fiduciary expertise while building strong client and partner relationships.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Paralegal Studies, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of banking, office administration, or paralegal experience.
  • Less than 2 years of trust and investment experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation.
  • Experience working with trust administration, fiduciary services, or wealth management clients.
  • Knowledge of trust regulations, fiduciary standards, and trust account administration.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily administration activities for personal trust and agency accounts, ensuring timely and accurate execution of client requests.
  • Support Relationship Managers with client service, financial planning materials, presentations, reporting, and business development efforts.
  • Manage account maintenance activities, including account openings and closings, cash processing, distributions, and documentation updates.
  • Partner with clients and internal teams to resolve operational issues and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Review trust documents and account information to support compliance with fiduciary standards, legal requirements, and trust provisions.
  • Monitor account activity and records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to risk and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal partners across legal, credit, customer care, and other areas to address complex transactions and service needs.
  • Assist with process improvements, special projects, and administration of a small portfolio of trust relationships under guidance.
