Role Summary As a Personal Trust Assistant, you will support Relationship Managers in delivering exceptional service to Personal Trust and agency clients. You will coordinate daily account administration, respond to client needs, and help ensure trust accounts are managed accurately and compliantly. This role offers an opportunity to build expertise in trust administration, client relationship management, and wealth services. Please Note: This position can also be hired as a Senior Personal Trust Assistant. We will assess applicants based on their skills and years of relevant experience.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Paralegal Studies, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in banking, office administration, customer service, or paralegal support.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Supporting trust, fiduciary, wealth management, or financial services clients.
  • Familiarity with trust administration processes and financial account servicing.
  • Experience working with client relationship management or financial planning systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily administration activities for personal trust and agency accounts to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Support Relationship Managers by preparing client materials, maintaining account information, and assisting with reporting and presentations.
  • Process account transactions, including account openings and closings, distributions, bill payments, ACH transactions, and wire transfers.
  • Partner with clients and internal teams to resolve inquiries, address operational issues, and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Maintain account records and documentation to support accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with business partners across customer care, legal, credit, and operations to resolve complex requests and transactions.
  • Monitor account activity and assist with compliance, risk management, and policy adherence requirements.
  • Develop knowledge of trust administration, fiduciary practices, and relevant tax and legal considerations to support client needs.
