About The Position

HealthFitness is seeking a dynamic, motivated, as-needed/substitute/fill-in Personal Trainer to join our team in Burlington, WI. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in a flexible schedule, where the number of hours a week depends on demand and scheduling. In this on-call role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact—guiding members through fitness assessments, delivering personalized one-on-one training sessions, and empowering individuals with the knowledge they need to build strength, improve cardiovascular health, and safely maximize their workouts. Their sole responsibility is to design customized workout programs and train our members based on their needs. You will be responsible for conducting fitness testing and assessments, advising participants of results, providing one-on-one personal training to members participating in the program, and educating them about the fundamentals of strength and cardiovascular training, as well as the proper and safe use of applicable equipment. Our personal trainers also work on the fitness floor, helping members and keeping the area clean and in order.

Requirements

  • Current Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider
  • Current Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required
  • Flu vaccination required

Nice To Haves

  • Willing to obtain Group Fitness Certification within 6 months of hire date
