About The Position

Healthtrax is excited to open our newest fitness center in Washington Township, NJ, on November 1, and we're building our founding Fitness Team now. Training begins October 1, giving you a full month of paid onboarding, education, and hands-on development before the club opens. This is a unique opportunity to join from day one, build your client base from the ground up, and grow alongside a brand-new membership community. At Healthtrax, you'll work alongside experienced fitness professionals in a collaborative environment focused on helping both you and your clients succeed. Our comprehensive wellness model gives your clients access to everything they need under one roof, improving results, retention, and your long-term business.

Requirements

Nationally recognized Personal Training certification (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE, or equivalent).
Current CPR/AED certification.
Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
Passion for helping people improve their health and fitness.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred.
Proven ability to build and retain a client base (preferred).

Responsibilities

Partner with Fitness Leadership to develop and grow your business.
Provide exceptional personal training and member onboarding experiences.
Cross-train in personal training, assisted stretching, small group training, and nutrition services.
Design individualized exercise programs that deliver measurable results.
Build lasting client relationships and help members achieve their goals.
Manage schedules, client communications, and progress documentation using Club Automation software.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional training environment.
Participate in weekly team meetings, continuing education, and best-practice sharing.
Support marketing initiatives, special events, and community outreach.
