About The Position

The City of Warrensburg is hiring a part-time Personal Trainer for the Warrensburg Parks & Recreation Department. The position designs programs and conducts customized one-on-one and small-group training sessions with guests and members to help them achieve their fitness goals. The ideal candidate is personable and has a positive, motivational attitude. The position is up to 25 hours per week and pays $24.00 per hour. Employment is subject to a background investigation.

Requirements

• Maintain a nationally recognized personal training certification from an NCCA-accredited agency.
• Hold current Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications, or obtain them within 60 days of hire. Parks and Recreation will provide training if necessary.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field and/or an exercise science education background.
• A personable manner and a positive, motivational attitude.
