About The Position

The personal trainer is responsible for helping clients achieve their personal fitness goals. As a leader of physical fitness, this positon will lead and motivate members through workouts. The personal trainer is responsible for creating exercise plans for a wide-range of clients, supervising workout regimens, and coaching clients on their form during exercise. The personal trainer tracks the fitness and performance level of the client.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Two (2) years of experience in personal training and group fitness instruction
• One (1) year of experience in designing, planning and implementing exercise programs
• Personal Training certification from one or more of the following accredited organization: National Council for Certified Personal Trainers (NASM), International Sports Science Association (ISSA), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association (NESTA), American Council of Exercise (ACE), National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT), The Cooper Institute, National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), International Fitness Professionals Association (IFPA)

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, sports medicine or other health-related discipline
• Previous sales experience
• Motivational coaching style
