About The Position

HealthFitness is hiring part-time Personal Trainers (20 hours/week) to support overflow training demand at a corporate fitness center in Springfield, MA. This is a great opportunity to build your client base in a professional, on-site setting with consistent weekday availability. The role offers established demand with clients already seeking training, the ability to grow your personal training clientele, and operates within a corporate fitness environment. The primary shifts are Monday–Thursday, onsite between 6:00 AM–5:00 PM, with the option to extend training hours from 5:00–6:00 AM or 5:00–7:00 PM when the fitness center is unstaffed. The most requested training times are early mornings (before 8:30 AM) and late afternoons (3:30–5:30 PM). This role offers flexibility and stability in a corporate setting for those looking to supplement income, gain consistent clients, and train during high-demand hours. The Personal Trainer is responsible for designing customized workout programs and training members based on their needs. This includes conducting fitness testing and assessments, advising participants of results, providing one-on-one personal training, and educating them on the fundamentals of strength and cardiovascular training, as well as the proper and safe use of applicable equipment.

Requirements

  • Current Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider.
  • Current Adult First Aid & CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
  • Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

Responsibilities
