About The Position

Personalized Functional Training Center (PFTC) is looking for an energetic, motivated Personal Trainer/Sports Performance Trainer to join our team in Hollywood, Maryland. This is a great opportunity for a trainer who enjoys working with individual clients and athletes and wants the opportunity to build and grow their own training caseload. We are looking for someone who is comfortable developing relationships, generating referrals, promoting their services, and becoming an active part of our local fitness and sports community.

Requirements

• Personal Training, Strength & Conditioning, or comparable certification
• Current CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain
• Experience in personal training, fitness, athletics, or sports performance preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Motivated to develop and grow a client base

Nice To Haves

• Experience or interest in strength and conditioning, speed and agility, youth athlete development, baseball/softball, throwing mechanics, adaptive fitness, or similar areas is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Individual and small-group personal training
• Youth and adult fitness and sports-performance training
• Developing individualized exercise and training programs
• Leading specialty classes and training programs
• Building and maintaining a personal training caseload through client relationships, referrals, and community connections
• Communicating professionally with clients and families
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized training environment
