About The Position

The Boulder Country Club is seeking a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor to join their team. This role involves helping members of all ages, including children, achieve their fitness goals. The ideal candidate will be a certified fitness professional with experience, knowledge, and expertise. Successful trainers often teach group fitness classes to build rapport and client base. The club fosters a collaborative team environment where colleagues support each other, exchange ideas, and promote continuing education and each other's strengths. Members are described as loyal, consistent, caring, and fun.

Requirements

  • Have a nationally accredited personal training certification such as: American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), American Council on Exercise (ACE), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) or other approved and accredited certifications.
  • CPR and First aid certified (can be completed within 30 days of hire).
  • Minimum 1 year of personal training experience.
  • Exceptional Communicator with excellent Customer Service Skills.
  • Teamwork and collaboration Skills.
  • Excellent Time Management.
  • On Point Administrative Skills.
  • Flexible schedule to train clients throughout the day, including availability after 3pm Monday-Friday.
  • Available to take on 6:30am clients.
  • Available to take on 3pm-6pm clients.
  • Must like working with Middle School and High School Athletes.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics, or a related area is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Teach people one on one, small group, and large groups.
  • Work with all ability levels in a group class.
  • Commit to helping people reach their fitness goals.
  • Develop creative, careful, innovative, fun, and purposeful functional fitness programs and workouts.
  • Teach a couple of group fitness classes per week.
  • Collaborate with team members, sub for one another, exchange ideas, and support continuing education.
  • Market each other's strengths.
