About The Position

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Van Buren Township, MI. In this role, you will provide essential in-home care and support to clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This position offers competitive pay ranging from $14.00 to $19.00 per hour, with bi-weekly payment.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role is preferred but not needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to promote their well-being.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health status to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients.
• Follow care plans carefully and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
