About The Position

Right at Home is looking for experienced, professional PSWs to join our team of exceptional caregivers in Vaughan. We provide 1:1 care to clients with physical, medical, or memory impairments wherever they call home—including family homes, retirement communities, and hospitals. If you are a passionate, patient, and committed caregiver, we want to meet you!

Requirements

Current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR.
Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check, including the Vulnerable Sector Screen (copy required).
All caregivers are to wear a mask while with a client.
All caregivers are to be up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations and provide proof of vaccination.

Responsibilities

Provide social stimulation, conversation, and mental engagement.
Initiate and promote physical activity tailored to the client's abilities.
Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals as needed.
Prompt clients with their routine and assist directly with personal care.
Maintain a clean environment (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, dishes, laundry).
Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
