About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Chesterfield, MI. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to our clients, helping them with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Requirements
- Certification or training in Personal Support Worker programs is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient demeanor and empathetic to the needs of the client IS A MUST
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to pass background checks
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in caregiving or home health care is an asset, but NOT required
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Chesterfield, MI is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor and report any changes in client’s health or behavior to the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients
