Personal Support Worker Part Time
About The Position
Qualicare Burlington is currently seeking dedicated & compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our diverse team. Shifts include Morning and Evening visits for private clients, as well as community visits.
Requirements
- Must have either Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate or Nursing students, or International Educated Nurses or Health Care Aid
- Previous hands-on experience providing personal care to clients is preferred.
- Must have a recent Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate is considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Assisting individuals with daily living such as personal care and hygiene (i.e., Toileting, bathing, feeding, etc.)
- Light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, nutrition
- Shift reports, and creating activity plans
- Maintain complete and confidential information for each individual supported
- Provide social/emotional support to clients and their families
- Provide care in a kind and understanding manners to seniors
- Accompany clients and assist them with walking, exercise, and mobility
