About The Position
Right at Home is looking for experienced, professional PSWs to join our team of exceptional caregivers in Scarborough. We provide 1:1 care to clients with physical, medical, or memory impairments wherever they call home—including family homes, retirement communities, and hospitals. If you are a passionate, patient, and committed caregiver, we want to meet you!
Requirements
- Current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR.
- Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check, including the Vulnerable Sector Screen (copy required).
- All caregivers are to wear a mask while with a client.

Responsibilities
- Provide social stimulation, conversation, and mental engagement.
- Initiate and promote physical activity tailored to the client's abilities.
- Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals as needed.
- Prompt clients with their routine and assist directly with personal care.
- Maintain a clean environment (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, dishes, laundry).
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
