About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team in Allenton, MI. This role involves providing exceptional care and support to individuals in their homes, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Allenton, MI is a plus.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role is an asset, but NOT required.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is an asset, but NOT required.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility support.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in a respectful and caring manner.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the supervisory team.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the clients.
- Follow all policies and procedures related to client care and confidentiality.
