Carecor Health Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to support clients in the Greater Toronto Area. As a PSW with Carecor, you will provide person-centered support with activities of daily living, personal care, mobility, nutrition, and social engagement. Working across a variety of care settings, you will play an important role in promoting independence, dignity, safety, and overall well-being. This is a casual position offering flexible scheduling based on operational requirements.

Requirements

Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate from a recognized institution.
Current CPR/First Aid certification.
Experience providing personal care, mobility assistance, nutrition support, and activities of daily living.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (or ability to obtain one).
Demonstrated commitment to person-centered care, professionalism, and safety standards.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting individuals with complex medical needs, developmental disabilities, and/or technology-dependent care is an asset.
Current member of HSCPOA (Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority) preferred

Responsibilities

Provide person-centered care and support with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and nutrition.
Assist technology-dependent clients with daily routines and personal care needs.
Support clients with tracheostomies and ventilators under the direction of the nursing team.
Monitor and report changes in client condition to the nursing team.
Maintain accurate documentation and support care plan implementation.
Promote the health, safety, dignity, and well-being of clients.
Collaborate with families, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to provide quality care.
