Requirements
- Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or similar role is an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required
- Must pass background checks and comply with health and safety regulations
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Monitor clients’ conditions and report any changes to healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life
- Follow care plans and company policies to ensure client safety and well-being
