Amica Senior Lifestyles operates over 30 senior living residences in British Columbia and Ontario, offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care lifestyle options, along with Long Term Care in BC. This role is about providing the best care in Senior Living in a supportive environment, where Personal Support Workers are called Resident Care Partners and are setting a new standard for senior care in Canada. The unique care model allows for getting to know each resident and forming relationships beyond just caring for them, making every interaction personalized and creating meaningful moments. Support is provided to residents in a wide variety of activities including light housekeeping, engagement, and dining support.
Requirements
- Willingness to learn and apply your learning on the job.
- Graduate from a recognized Personal Support Worker program, currently enrolled in a nursing program, or an internationally certified nurse.
- Ability to complete the Vulnerable Sector Check.
- First Aid, CPR Certificate.
Responsibilities
- Support residents in a wide variety of activities including light housekeeping, engagement and dining support.
- Administer medications (opportunity to participate in training).
