About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Canton, MI. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life.
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or home health care preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Canton, MI.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with medication reminders and follow care plans as instructed.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients in their homes.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
