About The Position

Home Care Assistance is seeking two female Personal Support Workers (PSWs) in the Beaverton area to provide care. Shift start times can range from 7 am to 10 am, with shifts lasting 5-12 hours, Monday to Friday. This is a casual position for individuals available to pick up shifts as needed.

Requirements

• PSW certification is required
• Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
• Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within last 6 months
• Drivers License and own insured vehicle is required
• Satisfactory professional references
• Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters

Nice To Haves

• CPI training is an asset

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care
• House Cleaning and Laundry Daily
• Providing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support
• Provide behavioral support and crisis intervention
• Maintaining open communication with client and their family
• Monitoring care plan and adding documentation with any changes and updates
• Responding to all emergency situations
• All other duties, as assigned
• Following detailed care plan
