The Personal Shopper at Sam's Club is responsible for developing and supporting Membership by providing information on benefits, promoting products and services, processing memberships, and participating in sales and marketing events to meet membership goals. This role also involves maintaining facility safety by adhering to all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps and handling hazardous materials properly. A key part of the position is fulfilling Member Fax n Pull and Click n Pull orders, which includes reviewing orders, pulling, scanning, wrapping, and palletizing items, ensuring order accuracy, and managing out-of-stock merchandise. The Personal Shopper completes work assignments by utilizing company policies and resources, collaborating with various partners, identifying priorities, and adapting to feedback. Providing excellent Member service is crucial, involving acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company offerings. The role requires compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, embracing diversity, working as a team, and fostering a culture of belonging. Associates are expected to act with integrity, maintain high ethical standards, and support Walmart's goal of becoming a regenerative company.
