About The Position

As a Personal Shopper at Meijer, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional curbside experience for customers. You will use technology to fulfill customer online orders for the Meijer Pickup Service. This involves selecting items with care, ensuring orders are accurate and fresh, and providing friendly, efficient service. The position aims to drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by providing remarkable service at the curbside pick-up area with fast, friendly, and accurate order fulfillment and payment collection. You will maintain a positive working relationship with customers, team members, and leadership, presenting a courteous and friendly attitude and responding to customer questions and needs. You will resolve customer complaints quickly, utilizing leadership when needed. The role involves receiving workflow from a dashboard, fulfilling orders, utilizing a selection process for products within the store, and bagging products appropriately following standards. You will store products correctly in the staging area following food safety guidelines and greet each customer, taking payment for the order to ensure an easy shopping experience. Maintaining a clean and neat work environment is also a responsibility. This job profile is not meant to be all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent required.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Strong communication skills.
General awareness of food safety regulations.
Detail oriented and organized.
Process driven and ability to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.

Nice To Haves

Previous, curbside/ecommerce, cashier, food service, Shipt, Instacart or retail experience a plus.
1-3 years of experience in a Meijer store preferred.
Past cashier experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Store product correctly in the staging area following food safety guidelines.
Greet each customer and take payment for the order ensuring an easy shopping experience.
Maintain a clean and neat work environment.
