About The Position

The Personal Property Program Analyst Level II provides personal property accountability, inventory management, and asset lifecycle support for Naval Special Warfare Group Two (NSWG-2) Logistics Support Unit Two (LOGSU-2). This position is responsible for processing property transactions, maintaining inventory accountability records, conducting inventories, managing personal property databases, and supporting command-wide personal property management programs. The incumbent ensures compliance with Department of Defense, Navy, and Naval Special Warfare property accountability requirements while supporting property custodians, inventory managers, and command leadership. This role directly contributes to mission readiness by ensuring accurate accountability, visibility, and control of government-owned property and equipment.

Requirements

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Must hold an active Secret Security Clearance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Must accurately input and manage data across systems
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain installation access
  • Minimum five (5) years of warehousing and inventory management experience within the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Experience performing personal property accountability, inventory management, and asset tracking functions.
  • Experience conducting inventories, inventory reconciliations, asset audits, and accountability reviews.
  • Experience maintaining inventory management databases, accountability systems, and property records.
  • Experience processing property receipt, transfer, issue, disposition, and accountability documentation.
  • Working knowledge of personal property management procedures, inventory control processes, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Must possess and maintain forklift certification up to 10,000-pound capacity.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, inventory management, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple property accountability requirements while maintaining accurate inventory records.

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move inventory and equipment
  • Ability to stand, bend, and perform inventory tasks
  • Ability to work in warehouse and logistics environments

Responsibilities

  • Process receipts of incoming government property, equipment, and materials.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and conduct personal property inventories in accordance with command requirements.
  • Maintain personal property databases, accountability systems, and inventory records.
  • Support enforcement of command policies and procedures related to personal property management.
  • Provide guidance, assistance, and support to personal property managers, custodians, and supported personnel.
  • Assist with personal property disposition actions and accountability requirements.
  • Support property accountability activities using applicable inventory and supply systems.
  • Ensure proper processing and forwarding of receipt, transfer, issue, and disposition documentation.
  • Verify inventory records and conduct reconciliation of property accountability data.
  • Research inventory discrepancies and support resolution of accountability issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of assigned assets and ensure accountability documentation is complete and current.
  • Support command property management inspections, inventories, audits, and compliance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Department of Defense, Navy, Naval Special Warfare, and command property accountability requirements.
