About The Position

The Personal Lines Sales Producer at Willow Wood Insurance is responsible for establishing, growing, and maintaining a referral network of local real estate agents, loan officers, financial advisors, and community partners to fill the sales pipeline of leads to produce new personal lines business. Requirements

  • Hold a Minnesota insurance license and have a minimum of two years of personal insurance sales experience.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively secure new business.
  • Have a proven track record of sales success.
  • Possess strong presentation skills with the ability to close sales.
  • Be people-oriented, customer-focused, and professionally assertive in developing new client relationships.
  • Possess outstanding organizational skills with an ability to complete difficult assignments without supervision, sound business judgment, strong decision-making, and superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have excellent time management skills, thrive in a team environment, and have technology and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Produce new personal lines business (home, auto, renters, umbrella) through direct leads and referral partnerships.
  • Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up, accurate and timely quotations, and general account support.
  • Anticipate, respond to, and follow up on all existing client needs.
  • Establish, grow, and maintain a referral network of local real estate agents, loan officers, financial advisors, and community partners.
  • Professionally represent Willow Wood Insurance at community events, and professional gatherings.
  • Conduct needs-based consultations to assess coverage and present appropriate policy solutions.
  • Effectively utilize agency tech (currently: Hawksoft, Agency Zoom, Risk Advisor, EZ Lynx Rater and more) and carrier platforms to quote and issue new business.
  • Track sales activity, referral outreach, and engagement using top technology tools .
  • Note: You will not be responsible for client servicing or policy changes post-sale. Our in-house service team handles ongoing client support and retention.
