About The Position

An established and growing insurance agency is seeking a dedicated Personal Lines Agent to support and service a portfolio of standard personal lines accounts. With decades of experience in Property & Casualty and Life & Health/Employee Benefits, this organization is known for a supportive, team-oriented culture and strong employee retention. This role focuses on managing inbound opportunities and providing high-level service to clients while maintaining accurate account documentation and coverage oversight.

Requirements

Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
Minimum of 2 years of insurance experience, either captive or independent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.

Nice To Haves

Experience within an independent agency environment preferred.
Proficiency in AMS360 or comparable agency management software preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of standard personal lines accounts, providing A–Z account servicing.
Handle inbound leads and quote requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Close sales generated from inbound activity.
Quote new and renewal business across personal lines coverages.
Review policies and advise clients on appropriate coverage options.
Maintain accurate documentation within agency management software.
Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to support a positive and productive work environment.
