This position is in our downtown San Antonio office and offers a hybrid schedule (3 days office; 2 days remote) after an initial onboarding period. The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for managing the entire account-service process, marketing clients to various carriers, responding to client inquiries regarding coverage and eligibility, ensuring the accuracy of policies, endorsements, EOIs, and audits, and maintaining organized and accurate account files.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Few years of experience in an insurance Account Management role or Client Service Associate role (brokerage experience preferred), or a strong interest in insurance coming from a customer-service role
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization.
  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and AMS (Epic preferred).
  • Must have, or be willing to obtain, Property & Casualty License
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Managing a book of personal lines insurance business focused on mid-market accounts
  • Preparing annual review reports and conducting client meetings to review the insurance program and making appropriate recommendations for improvements
  • Work closely with a sales producer and other team members on all aspects of client service, marketing, and renewals while adhering to HUB’s best practices and standard procedures
  • Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers, you will be responsible for resolving any service issues, as well negotiating with underwriters and troubleshooting claims and billing issues
  • Understand clients’ insurance objectives and critical analysis are required to compare insurance plans for suitability
  • Help develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads and explore cross-selling opportunities when appropriate.
