The position plays a critical role in supporting attorneys and advocating for clients during challenging circumstances.

Requirements

15–20 years of plaintiff's personal injury paralegal and/or case management experience
Strong knowledge of Texas personal injury litigation procedures and deadlines
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple active cases simultaneously
Experience drafting demands, discovery, and litigation-related documents
Familiarity with medical terminology, records, and billing analysis
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software
Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a collaborative team

Nice To Haves

Experience handling catastrophic injury, trucking, premises liability, wrongful death, and/or complex litigation matters
Trial preparation experience

Responsibilities

Manage plaintiff personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial
Maintain regular communication with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel
Gather and organize medical records, billing records, wage loss documentation, and other damages evidence
Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery responses, demand packages, and settlement documentation
Coordinate treatment updates and track client progress throughout the life of the case
Assist attorneys with litigation preparation, including trial preparation, mediation preparation, and deposition coordination
Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and follow-up tasks
Review and summarize medical records and discovery materials
Coordinate filing of pleadings in Texas state and federal courts
Handle lien resolution and settlement disbursement coordination
Work closely with attorneys to move cases efficiently and strategically toward resolution
