The Personal Injury Paralegal role at Joubert Law Firm Injury Lawyers is designed for an ambitious professional eager to make a significant impact. This strategic position involves working alongside a senior attorney to manage complex, litigation-heavy personal injury cases. The paralegal will play a critical role in driving cases from intake through resolution, supporting the firm's mission to advocate fiercely for clients while maximizing case value and efficiency.

Requirements

  • At least three years of paralegal experience, ideally in personal injury or complex litigation, with the ability to manage cases effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Proficiency with Filevine and Office 365, along with a willingness to embrace Eve (AI) and other legal technology to improve efficiency and support exceptional client service.
  • Takes a proactive, solutions-oriented approach by anticipating needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping strengthen case management and firm operations.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with clients, attorneys, medical providers, courts, and other external partners while building trust and delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • Brings an ownership mentality and a genuine desire to grow into a leadership role, contributing ideas that support the firm's continued growth, innovation, and operational success.
  • Thrives in an in-office role where collaboration and direct engagement with colleagues are integral to success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an active caseload of approximately 90-100 personal injury matters, balancing competing priorities while ensuring each case continues moving forward with accuracy, urgency, and attention to detail.
  • Own the full case lifecycle from pre-litigation through litigation, maintaining continuity, keeping documentation organized and accurate, and proactively driving cases toward successful resolution.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing timely updates and setting expectations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and demand packages, producing high-quality work with precision and strong attention to detail.
  • Play a key role in supporting litigation by coordinating depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation while ensuring deadlines are met and case materials are organized for attorney success.
  • Leverage Filevine, Eve (AI), and Office 365 to manage cases efficiently, embrace new technologies, and identify opportunities to improve workflows and streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership by participating in executive discussions, identifying operational improvements, and helping shape the firm's continued growth and long-term success.
