About The Position

Pemberton Personal Injury Law Firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join their growing team. The paralegal will play a key role in supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process while helping clients feel informed and supported. Requirements

  • 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience required.
  • Experience managing a high-volume litigation caseload.
  • Strong understanding of litigation procedures, deadlines, and case management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong legal writing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple cases effectively.
  • Professional, compassionate, and client-focused approach.
  • Must reside in Wisconsin.

Nice To Haves

  • Personal injury litigation experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with Filevine or another legal case management system is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage personal injury cases throughout the litigation process.
  • Draft pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and other litigation documents.
  • Assist attorneys with case strategy, legal research, and litigation preparation.
  • Review, organize, and summarize medical records, bills, insurance information, discovery, and other case materials.
  • Communicate with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and help them navigate the litigation process.
  • Coordinate with opposing counsel, medical providers, expert witnesses, lien holders, and insurance carriers.
  • Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and other litigation events and deadlines.
  • Prepare for trial by organizing exhibits, documents, witness materials, and other case materials.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and organized case files in the firm’s case management system.
