About The Position

Mutrux Firm, LLC is seeking a Litigation Associate with Personal Injury experience. Workers' Compensation experience is a bonus. This is a hybrid position with work from home as an option, as appearances allow. The ideal candidate is a leader, eager for daily challenges and the best legal training. The firm focuses on contingent fee injury work and seeks individuals who are motivated to hustle for new clients and be part of a trial team dedicated to helping everyday people. This role is not for those solely focused on monthly billables or office views.

Requirements

Licensed in Missouri.
Personal Injury experience.
Optimism, grit, and the desire to be great at your job.

Nice To Haves

Workers' Compensation experience.
Licensed in Illinois, Arizona, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Kansas.

Responsibilities

Motion practice for all litigation files, including drafting and arguing motions.
Manage day-to-day emails and communication with opposing counsel.
First-chair jury trials for smaller cases.
Second-chair jury trials for catastrophic loss cases.
Appellate practice when needed.
Trial strategy and case development with lead attorney.
Written Discovery.
Plaintiff, Defendant, and Expert Depositions.
Reviewing releases and other needed documents.
