TOTAL ATTAINABLE COMPENSATION: $183,000 - $336,000+ Base Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 (qualification-dependent - see below) We pay Competitive Quarterly Performance Commissions as well as Referral Bonuses on cases you personally originate. The short version: We have 600+ active PI cases, a bilingual client base growing every month, and a firm that has structured itself - deliberately - so that a great trial attorney can earn like one. We are not looking for someone to manage files. We are looking for someone who closes them. HOW COMMISSIONS WORK Commissions are paid quarterly on firm-wide PI fees collected and banked. There is NO CEILING . WHAT DETERMINES YOUR BASE SALARY $130,000 base -- minimum qualifications: Active Virginia bar license in good standing 5+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience, including active litigation Minimum 2 first-chair jury or bench trials taken to verdict Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently $140,000 base -- all of the above, plus: 7+ years of plaintiff PI litigation experience (not defense, not insurance) 5+ first-chair jury trials taken to verdict in personal injury matters Active bar license in at least one additional state: Maryland, DC, New York, or Florida Preferred but NOT REQUIRED: Bilingual Spanish/English fluency (conversational minimum, professional preferred) Verifiable case results -- we will ask for them BENEFITS Health, vision, and dental insurance -- 100% employer-paid (employee coverage) 3 weeks paid time off 401(k) with 4% employer match (after 1 year of continuous employment) Five-state licensing footprint: Virginia, Maryland, DC, New York, and Florida A dedicated pod team assigned to you from day one YOUR SUPPORT STRUCTURE You will not be doing this alone. WHAT YOU WILL DO Owns a caseload of 100+ active PI matters across pre-litigation and active litigation Drive cases from treatment to demand to settlement or trial verdict Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and jury trials across our five-state footprint Collaborate with your pod team on discovery, records, and demand packages Represent clients at status hearings, motions, and pre-trial conferences Originate referral business from your professional and community network STRONGLY PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED) Bilingual Spanish/English -- the client base is majority Spanish-speaking THIS IS PROBABLY NOT THE ROLE FOR YOU IF...
