About The Position

Kinecta Federal Credit Union is seeking a Part-Time Personal Financial Associate to join their team as a floater in Henrietta/Rochester NY. This role involves performing duties related to member services and sales production, developing Select Employer Groups and business expansion, and acting as a financial advocate for members. The position also includes fulfilling member needs, completing standard teller transactions accurately, and providing information on all products and services in a timely, courteous, and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of features and benefits of Credit Union products and services.
  • Strong communication skills (written and orally).
  • Basic computer skills needed for accurate data entry of member and loan account information, and to create and revise general correspondence.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Strong cash handling/customer/member service skills.
  • Ability to analyze members’ financial needs and provide related information and/or data to demonstrate product and service benefits.
  • Ability to listen, observe and interpret people and situations.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to interact with staff, members and others encountered in the course of work.
  • Ability to learn and apply new information or skills.
  • Ability to perform highly detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasks.
  • Ability to use math and apply mathematical reasoning and abstract statistical concepts.
  • A minimum of 1 year of retail sales and service experience.
  • Successful completion of Kinecta Internal certification programs (Level I and Level II).
  • One year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties related to member services and sales production.
