About The Position
BrightStar Care of Lubbock is seeking a compassionate, dependable Personal Driver to assist a patient with Spina Bifida. This individual will provide safe and reliable transportation to and from the patient’s workplace using the patient’s ADA-accessible van.
Requirements
- Valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record
- Must be comfortable assisting individuals who use a wheelchair
- Dependable, patient, and professional demeanor
Nice To Haves
- Experience driving ADA-accessible vehicles is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Drive patient to and from work Monday through Friday
- Operate patient’s ADA-accessible van safely and responsibly
- Assist patient in securing wheelchair and ensuring safety throughout transport
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patient regarding schedule or any changes
- Maintain punctuality and reliability for all scheduled trips
