About The Position

Down To Earth Cuisine is seeking experienced and customer-service-oriented chefs to join their growing team. This role offers an alternative to the traditional restaurant environment, with a Monday through Friday schedule during business hours. Chefs will be responsible for creating personalized menus based on client dietary preferences, shopping for ingredients, preparing meals in the client's kitchen, and packaging up to a week's worth of dinners. The position emphasizes culinary expertise, top-tier customer service, and a commitment to sustainability.

Requirements

  • Culinary training or certification is a must.
  • Strong commitment to providing superior customer service.
  • Patience and the ability to build trust with clients.
  • Adaptability to changes within the work environment.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Respectful and professional communication skills.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices and willingness to follow them.
  • 5 years' experience as a professional chef (3-4 years DOE)

Responsibilities

  • Create menus for clients on a weekly basis
  • Shop at local markets for supplies

  • Participate in regular virtual team meetings
