About The Position

Homewatch Caregivers is seeking empathetic and qualified caregivers to provide human-focused care and utilize compassionate strategies that address both the client’s immediate needs as well as long term safety. We are currently looking to add to our team of caregivers. Allowing clients to be included in their care and make as many decisions as possible can help alleviate some of the stress that they experience on a day-to-day basis. An ideal candidate will have a big heart and an open mind, able to carry out routine tasks that clients can no longer manage on their own. Requirements

  • TB Test (2 step PPD/Chest X-ray/Quantiferon Blood Work)

Responsibilities

  • Treat clients with patience and respect, maintaining their dignity.
  • This position is more than a companionship role.
  • Be physically capable of assisting clients with mobility issues, transportation and ambulation.
  • Assist clients in their homes with daily tasks (grooming, toileting and cleanup, dressing, meal prep, med reminders, showering etc.)
  • Ability to provide professional, compassionate, and respectful care to all clients.
